Real improvement isn’t made with one time clinics or camps. This is why Grind Athletics is built upon a month to month subscription method that provides continuous classes to guarantee consistent improvement.
Don’t be satisfied with talent. That alone will not get you there. Grind Athletics provides repetition based training to motivate athletes in the process it takes to get them to the level they desire. We focus on developing the physical, technical, and tactical abilities of athletes. With our repetition based training of footwork, hands, and routes all athletes will be well rounded and address all aspects of the game.
Most athletes are not performing at the level of their potential, they are performing at the level of their preparation.
Footwork is an essential component of a football athlete’s development, and it can make all the difference between a successful play and a failed one. The game requires athletes to move quickly, change directions rapidly, and maintain balance while running, blocking, and tackling. Footwork drills are an important part of training and development, and they can help athletes improve their agility, speed, and coordination on the field..
Understanding routes is a critical skill for football athletes on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Athletes must also be able to read the defense, adjust their route if necessary, and react quickly to any changes in the coverage. Fundamental knowledge of the different routes in a route tree is crucial to be able to make adjustments and play smart football on both sides of the line.
Hands are used for more than just catching the ball. While we have a strong focus on proper catching techniques, we also emphasize proper hand technique with blocking, tackling and creating space. Good hand-eye coordination, strength, and dexterity are critical for success. Receivers, tight ends, and running backs must be able to catch the ball cleanly and securely, while linemen must be able to grip and control their opponents during blocking and tackling.
